There many latest evolving technologies used in mobile app development.
BLE & Beacon
Bluetooth Low Energy (also called Bluetooth LE or Bluetooth 4.0) is the power- and application-friendly version of Bluetooth that allows for connectivity between devices and beacons. BLE is already used widely and is the basis for Google Eddystone and Apple’s iBeacon. Beacons work in tandem with mobile apps to trigger particular messages or actions based on rules, such as triggering a push notification when a user is within a certain distance from a beacon.
GPS (Geofencing)
Geofencing makes use of GPS technology to pinpoint a user’s location in proximity to a given area. Using the coordinates from a user’s device, messages and actions can be pushed to users’ devices when they enter a predetermined area. Geo-fencing allow an administrator to set up triggers so when a device enters (or exits) the boundaries defined by the administrator, an alert is issued. Geofence virtual barriers can be active or passive.
Augmented Reality
Augmented reality is often presented as a kind of futuristic technology, but a form of it has been around for years. Augmented reality is used a lot in games and this is changing how the gaming industry is looking as it allows games to be integrated into all of the activities that a user performs. Augmented reality combines real and computer-based scenes and images to deliver a unified but enhanced view of the world. Augmented reality has many different implementation models and applications, but its primary objective is to provide a rich audiovisual experience.
